The Commemorative Air Force restores historical aircraft to flying status.  When Japanese aircraft have been needed for movies and reenactments, replicas have been built by modifying existing aircraft like T-6/SNJ and BT-13 trainers.  Among these are several replica B5N2 Kate carrier attack planes.  These have been used in movies like Tora, Tora, Tora, War and Remembrance, Midway, and others.  Once of these replica Kates is part of the Dixie Wing of the Commemorative Air Force at Peachtree City, Georgia.  Bert Kinzey got to fly in this aircraft several times and experienced what it was like to fly it around the Georgia countryside.
